Chapter 8 – Marriage
The sun's rays filtered through the windows, through the bright and
tiny drops of rain, and stroking Bella's face to announce the arrival of the
new day. I did not feel the unpleasant nausea every
morning and could enjoy the autumnal scents that flooded the room. He opened his eyes
and sat up in bed with a start.

– This stupid
arrogant! – Bella muttered
under his breath. – Do you think you
can put me in a house and turn me into a lover? I'm willing to give
birth in the street before accepting his ridiculous proposal! Probably you must
be wondering – Bella speculated feisty, – how long will it take me to your home
and take me to his room. You think I'm
grateful for his generosity and, as a result, which will submit myself to it. And if you do, I
will not be more than a whore! No! I never give myself
to him like that!
